About Me

I started early with a love of teaching, training the family poodle after reading a library book on dog training, later training horses, and finally moving on to my fellow humans. I've spent the last thirty years happily occupied as a language teacher, mainly teaching face to face. I've taught students from around the world and have spent some time teaching in Japan.

I'm a lifelong learner and hold a B.A. in English Literature and and B.Ed. in Teaching English as a Second Language.

I'm now striking out on new adventures, learning how to effectively transition to teaching online or blended courses. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, hiking and sampling new wines. Language nerd, minimalist and lover of design. Not sweary.
